There are two amendments that will be voted on soon to make sure legislative knee jerk reactions don’t negatively impact the right to bear arms in Kansas. One establishes an individual right to arms and the other to make sure legislators do not create arbitrary laws when making mental health provisions relating to such rights. Generally Kansas is one of the better states as it pertains to gun rights. States like California should have thought of this years ago.
